Cookies act as your resource in Little Troubles, and are used to play cards, activate abilities, grab Toys and pay Bribes.
At the beginning of each game, the starting player begins with 30 cookies, and the player who goes second begins with 32 cookies.
Cards on a player's Playground will produce cookies for that player during their Resource Phase (usually Characters, but there are also other cards that produce cookies), and the player themself will also produce 1 cookie during the Resource Phase. Cookies can also be gained through winning Fights and through the effects of certain cards.
Cookie also act as a win condition: one way to win a game of Little Troubles is to have 100 or more cookies at one time.
