Yoga Instructor is an example of a card with an ability.

An ability is an effect on a card in the player's Play area that can be activated by paying a certain cost or performing a specific action.

For example, to activate the ability of "Add a Wellness Token to another Character you control" on Yoga Instructor // Mommy 'n Me, you would pay 3 cookies.

Grabbing a toy is considered an ability.

A normal ability can only be activated by the player whose turn it is, and only during their Build Phase.

An ability with a shooting star (Quick Ability) is considered a Quick Ability, and either player may activate Quick Abilities during the Build Phase or Fight Phase.
