Card Text

Quick Ability: Choose a Toy or a Character. That card's abilities can't be activated, and they can't be chosen to Fight this turn. If this is the second time you've activated this ability in a turn, send Playpen to Timeout.

Rulings

  • The phrase "That card's abilities can't be activated" refers specifically to triggered abilities, e.g. an ability that costs an action to use, and does not affect passive or automatic abilities.

Flavor Text

22a, 22b: It felt backwards, putting all the cursed toys in a playpen to keep them out of reach of your regressed coworkers, but anything to keep them from regressing further.

22c, 22d: Okay, maybe putting a ton of cursed objects all in one place might have been a bad idea...
