Banlist

In official tournament play, certain cards may have restrictions on play. In Constructed Play, cards work on set rotation: the most recent main set, and the previous two main sets, are legal, while older sets are no longer legal (barring cards which have since been reprinted in more recent sets).

In addition, certain cards may not be legal for play in certain situations (for example, Pre-Game Actions are not valid for online tournaments, as it is impossible to give these cards to your opponent physically).

Below is a list of cards and sets alongside their legality. Cards from invalid sets that have been reprinted, upgrades and cards that are banned are listed below. This list aims to be up-to-date and comprehensive, but always confirm with a Big during tournament play if you are unsure.

Statuses

• Legal: This card can be played as normal, and has no restrictions.
• Reprinted: This card is from an otherwise-invalid set, but is legal to play as it has been reprinted.
• Upgraded: This card has been upgraded to its unique version (e.g. from a Character to a Main Character), and is treated as such for deck construction (max. 1 copy) and gameplay (is treated as the unique version, and is not treated as the non-unique version). Versions of these cards before they were upgraded are legal to play as long as you are aware of this change and treat them as such.
• Storyteller-exclusive: This card is exclusive to Storyteller format and cannot be used in Constructed Play tournaments.
• Not legal: This card is not legal to play in tournament settings.
