Card Types
There are various different card types in Little Troubles:
Actions
Action Cards are cards that perform a one-time effect that change the board state. Depending on the type of effect applied, Action card effects are either permanent or reversed at the end of the turn.

Characters
Character cards are the resource generators in Little Troubles. These will always have certain values printed on the card: a cookie cost to play, Confidence 
, Maturity 
, a Fight Reward
, and per turn resource generation for cookies
/drawing cards
. Most (but not all) Character cards will also have a regressed backside with the same information (except for a cookie cost).

Fields
Field Cards are continuous modifiers to the current state of play. Their effects can range from cookie cost modifications, to changing the rules of fights, to even restricting regression/restoration. Field cards are only able to be played during the active player’s Build Phase, though some have quick effects
that can be activated whenever applicable.

Goals
Goal cards are brown and are placed in the Goal area. A Goal is made up of objectives known as Tasks
, that once completed, reward the player with the stated Reward at the bottom of the card.

Scenes
Scenes are cards that can be played to a spot on any player's playground and typically affect the card on that spot.

Toys
Toy Cards are similar to Fields as they apply continuous effects that modify the rules or condition of cards currently in play. Unlike Fields, however, Toy Cards generally only affect a certain number of characters currently in play.

Hybrids
Some cards may be more than one type simultaneously. For purposes of counting effects and card limits, they count as both types separately.
